Francis Boyle was born on 16 August 1972 in Glasgow, and Scotland remains a rich source for his comic material. Boyle’s attracted his fair share of controversy, and the charges of offensiveness by some are outweighed by the fervour of his leagues of fans. In October 2009 he released his autobiography, My Shit Life So Far. In typical Frankie Boyle-style, it opens chastising the people who’ve bought a celebrity autobiography, and, in particular, those who’ve bought this one by a panel show comedian.
