William Henry Cosby Jr, born on 12 July 1937, is most noted for his long-running TV sitcom The Cosby Show which aired throughout the 80s. This was followed by another 38 and earned him seven Grammies for comedy - more than any other artist. Actor, TV producer, musician and author, Bill is partial to a cigar, perhaps inspired by one of his influences, Groucho Marx.
